Assessment of Work-Related Functional Abilities Is Important in Disability Determination
May 25, 2019
A Residual Functional Capacity Report (RFC) from your medical or mental health provider, is key evidence in a Social Security Hearing. The Burden of Proof is on the claimant to show that he or she cannot function on a full time basis, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week without experiencing disability symptoms. Therefore, any medical records or opinions addressing your ability to function on the job is necessary.
